The Brand

Tom, Dick and Harry is an Australian-Sydney based fashion label established in 2005 by Creative Director/Designer Faydi Saddik. Tom, Dick & Harry’s (TDH) debut Spring/Summer collection was completed later that year and launched to an audience of eager fashionistas, buyers and media. In 2006 TDH was invited to showcase the winter collection at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week in Melbourne as part of the new generation show, only 4 months after launching the label in Sydney. In 2007 Tom, Dick & Harry Hit the international stage, with the collections showcasing in London and Tokyo’s Fashion week schedules. Later that year, Fashion TV (FTV) followed the brand across the globe producing a 4 part series feature documentary that aired in 2008 on Foxtel’s FTV about the journey and success of this local label. In 2009 TDH expands its black label of exclusive couture designs offering full bespoke services, specialising in weddings and corporate attire that matched some of the best in Saville Row Tailoring. In 2015 TDH extended its bespoke fine tailoring to its red and blue labels, turning the brand into a full custom clothier specialist for all of its garments. TDH custom designs and tailors everything from – Suits, Shirts, Waistcoats, Denim Jeans, Chino Pants, Shorts, T-shirts, Hats, and special occasion costumes.

The Concept

Inspired by the philosophy that recreational and professional attire need not be mutually exclusive wardrobes, Tom Dick & Harry caters for local and international taste. The Phrase Tom Dick and Harry is normally understood as a placeholder for a multiple of unspecified people, or ie everyone. Applying this concept to the Modern Man that befits the Cliché distinguishes this brand from the rest as it is not limited to set sizes and caters for multiple tiers of budgets. TDH gives every client freedom of choice to design their garments based on budget and service tier ensuring that the brand caters for every-body.

Comprised of three separate and distinct labels with individually refined characteristics, each of the Red (Tom), Blue (Dick) & Black (Harry) collections share the same guiding principles in design and detailing, creating an entire wardrobe for the international male – a dynamic force who, from one hour to the next, is a sportsman, an academic, an entrepreneur, a lover, a warrior, a businessman and a thrill-seeker.

The Designer

Faydi Saddik graduated with an economics degree from Sydney University, but somewhere along the lines his ambitions as a fashion designer took over. During the course of his Degree, Faydi always found time to follow his passion in making cloths. He used to design, print and sell his t-shirts at local designer markets. By the end his degree, Faydi’ s Collections had expanded to include a range of Denim, Cargo’s pants, shorts, Knitwear, Shirts, Singlets, Jackets and hats, and by this stage was also producing exclusive collections for several stores in Sydney. To further cement his already firsthand experience in design, Faydi enrolls to study Fashion Design and Clothing Production.  With less than a year into the course, and several years working in the fashion industry, Faydi launches TD&H and the rest is History.
